WEEKEND camping yoga retreats in the uk

The Food.

We try to integrate as many locally sourced meals, products and services as possible! Our retreats support local businesses and entrepreneurs.

From the Flint Vineyard wine, to Fen Farm Dairy Baron Bigod , most of our food is locally sourced, supporting the local economy & family farms.

We provide meat based and veggie/vegan options for you to choose from, including some local treats to enjoy throughout your stay.

Like what you’ve tried? We have local produce & products to pick from and take home with you!

The Yoga.

Our classes welcome all levels - including if you haven’t tried yoga before!

Throughout the weekend, you’ll indulge in 5+ hours of vinyasa & yin outdoor yoga in our beautiful natural setting.

From candle lit Yin Yoga on Friday, to Vinyasa in the day - you’ll get your fill of all variations of yoga!

Yoga is taught by our certified yoga teacher, Tori Sadler, who teaches a playful and welcoming flow for all levels.

The Experience.

We’d like to share our family home with you, and offer you the chance to camp on our family farmland, in the heart of East Anglia’s countryside. It’s an opportunity to un-plug and truly relax, gaze up at the stars one weekend.

Each retreat offers a slightly different experience to consider when you sign up: wild swimming in the Waveney River, guided photography tours, artist classes, or hot tub nights under the stars!

We bring you back to nature, and back to simpler more peaceful state of being.

FAQs

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?

We ensure the yoga we teach is accessible to all levels and abilities. And we encourage you to only try poses and movements that work for your body. The retreat does offer some walking opportunities, including a walk to a river for wild swimming (or dipping your toes), as well as a walk to the Pub. We’d recommend being able to walk 1-2 miles comfortably before signing up for this retreat.

Can I join if I’ve never done yoga before?

Our retreat welcomes all levels, and our skilled teacher is experienced teaching yogis of all levels. We can accommodate classes, providing modifications that suit your body. Whether an advanced yoga practitioner, or only just beginning your yoga practice - you’re welcome to join us without fear or judgement!

How do I get there?

Our retreat is located in the heart of East Anglia, at Oak Hill Farm in Mendham, Harleston. You can either drive direct (parking on site), or take a train to Diss Station & taxi from there. You will need to pre-book taxis if travelling by train.

What is the campsite like?

Our retreat experience is designed to help you unplug and retreat into nature. This means we’re truly back to basics - it’s a camping experience! There’s no wifi here! But trust us, this will help enrich the experience. For a weekend, truly embrace where you are and simply focusing on just being.

How do you keep costs so low?

We believe yoga should be accessible and enjoyed by all. While other retreats run at £600+ a weekend - not us! Our outdoor experience, coupled with local foods supporting local businesses keeps our costs low. This means you’ll bring a few of your own things (sleeping bag, yoga mat, etc.), but we’ll keep you fed and comfortable!

Once more, we don’t tack on a massive surcharge. We’re a family led, start-up venture, and we want to take you on the journey with us!

What do I bring?

We have a full packing list prepped for you - linked here!

What are your COVID precautions?

We’re fortunate that our entire retreat is outdoors, and offers plenty of space to distance. You’ll practice yoga outside, at least 1 meter apart. Bringing your own yoga mat & towel will also help reduce risk.

Any other thoughts? questions? Get in touch! We’d love to hear from you!
